My name is Dan Morrison. I am a native of East Galesburg Illinois and currently live in Quincy Illinois which is right across the Mississippi River from the state of Missouri. I am blessed to be in the heart of turkey country. I have been turkey hunting since 1994. I had the good fortune to harvest my 1st turkey that year but was humbled the 2nd year after 9 straight days of turkey’s doing what turkey’s do best, dishing out humble pie to those eagerly seeking it.

That season drove me to become a serious student of the tild turkey and begin devoting my spring to the pursuit of this great game bird. To date I have harvested 29 birds and called in numerous others for clients and friends. I am retired from United Parcel Service, but work in this area’s best sporting goods store (GameMasters) where I serve as a pro staffer. I am instructor at our annual turkey school, have mc’d a local turkey calling contest, and held duck & goose calling seminars. I am scheduled to instruct retriever training seminars this summer. I hunt turkey’s from start to finish in both states. Missouri allows a 2 bird harvest, while in Illinois I can draw up to 3 tags plus a fall tag. My passion is hunting turkeys and helping others get their 1st bird. I have spent hour after hour perfecting my calling and woodsman ship skills and am delighted when I can help someone else with theirs. I’m not a contest caller, my judges are wild turkeys. Where else is it legal to shoot the “judges”? Call me if you need help or have something you’re willing to share that will make me a more successful turkey hunter as well. Good hunting!!

Gene Alexander is from Henderson Michigan. He has been turkey hunting since 1982. Gene has hunted in many states including Kansas, Ohio, Missouri and, of course, Michigan. In his years of hunting he has harvested over 30 gobblers.

Gene is has also been in competition calling since 1991 with several titles to his credit.

His titles include 2004 Michigan State Champion, four-time Grand Rapids Open Champion, two-time Baldwin (state of Michigan Champion) one-time Huron Valley Champion and four-time Grand National Qualifier.

Gene also enjoys deer hunting, fishing and many other outdoor activities. However turkey hunting with friends and family and filming their hunts is the ultimate in excitement.

Brent Sturtevant is a resident of Vanderbilt, Michigan. He has enjoyed turkey hunting for over 15 years. In his time of hunting he has killed over 15 turkeys and called many more to the gun for others. Growing up in the thumb, Brent has enjoyed many outdoor activities, including salmon and steelhead fishing, bow and rifle hunting deer, and small game hunting.

Although Brent has only been contest calling for three years, he is an up-and-coming champion finishing high in local contests and winning the MWTHA State championship in Baldwin, Michigan. Brent, as well as Bully’s Wild Turkey Calls, is looking forward to more wins from him in the future.

Derrick Poet has been hunting turkeys in Michigan since he was twelve years old. His love for archery and turkey hunting has taken him to Iowa, Missouri, and also Texas chasing after the “King of Spring.” Derrick killed his first Gobbler that he called in at the age of sixteen and has not looked back. Derrick makes his living in the outdoor industry and Bully’s is excited to have him aboard.

Derrick just started his contest calling career in 2004 and is looking forward to a promising future. Derrick’s son Jay is also a contest caller on the Bully’s team and will begin his calling contest career in 2005. Derrick and Jay are a welcome addition and will have success on the calling circuit.
