On 5/15/11, at 6:50 p.m. (final day of fifth season and about one hour and a half hours left in the season) my Dad and I got the turkey within shootiing distance. Very satisfied with my first turkey. The turkey weighed 25.8 pounds, 10.75 inch beard, and 32 mm (1.25 inch) spurs. The most effective call was the double reeded call with the raspy hen and not raspy on other side. |

The Western Maryland 2011 turkey season has been wet, windy and cold for the most part since opening day...my son and I set up our Primos Vision blind with a 2 hen & jake decoy in the rain/wind. The Hookbuster 3 worked great, very pleased with the set of jake birds we each took that morning. The Hookbuster 3 is very versatile having the slate and glass in hand. |

With the extended drought here in TX, the birds have been very disinterested in breeding since early in the season and pretty much been unresponsive to calling. Earlier this week I took the Hook Buster III out for its first rodeo having just received it in the mail. The glass side located them and got them headed my way and some clucks and purrs on the slate side sealed the deal on this two year old Rio and his subordinate companion. What a great sounding and versatile call Seth. Thanks! |

This is a photo of a turkey my buddy shot last Tuesday. Your Bully's slate call sounded great. It was all I used to pull him in a 1/4 mile. We shot 7 more birds on the weekend with 2 more falling over as a result of Bully's calls. I hope your seasons are going well. |
